As a makeup artist I like to pride myself in my professional attitude to my work, I become immersed in anything I do. I am able to maturely understand the role of a makeup artist and to be a positive influence on my clients, whether working with clients in the chair or on set. Being able to fulfill the needs of a client, as an individual, is paramount to providing a outstanding service.
I enjoy the diversity that each new client brings, I love a challenge, I revel in working with a team and love to be able to achieve a goal on my own fortitude, I persevere until I have.
I have always been drawn to the creative arts. After moving to Holland I found that I had a love of learning, if I had an interest in the subject matter.
This led me to taking up tattooing. This was one of my most profound turning points as I had never really connected to the "Normal Job". This gave me a lot of inspiration. I loved the design process and the connection to the client that you gain as an artist.
I found myself wanting to go further with body art, and expand my knowledge, but with something less permanent. Make-Up was the obvious choice. Once I had done some research, I realised how much can really be achieved with makeup, from the most beautiful to the most grotesque. It was a no brainer for me.
I have a great love of Film and TV, ever since I was a young girl I was fascinated with horror films and with all the amazing special effects. I had a light bulb moment, I realised that it would be my dream to work on Film and TV.
I knew that this would be a passion for me and provide me with the sense of excitement and achievement that I sought after.
I found that I love all sides of the industry, from working on the set of a film to back stage in the theatre, fashion photo shoots, fantasy makeup and working with a team.
